Overview

Plivo is a cloud communications platform for sending SMS messages and making voice calls. Use this node to send text messages and initiate calls programmatically.

Authentication

API Key (Auth ID + Auth Token) via Secure Vault. Add your Plivo Auth ID and Auth Token in the credential configuration modal.

Key parameters:

  • From — your Plivo phone number (must be a purchased Plivo number)
  • To — destination phone number in E.164 format
  • Message (SMS) — the text body to send
  • Answer URL (Call) — URL returning Plivo XML to control call flow

Tips

  • Phone numbers must be in E.164 format (e.g., +14155551234).
  • For voice calls, you must provide an Answer URL that returns valid Plivo XML instructions.
