Overview

OpenThesaurus is a free German-language thesaurus. Use this node to look up synonyms for German words and phrases.

Authentication

None required. This is a public API with no credentials needed.

Key parameters:

  • Word — the German word to look up synonyms for
  • Options — include substring matches, similar terms, or base forms

Tips

  • This node only supports German-language lookups. For other languages, use a different thesaurus service via the HTTP Request node.
  • Results return synonym sets (synsets) grouped by meaning, each containing multiple synonym terms.
