Overview

Send messages and manage media through the WhatsApp Business Cloud API. Supports text, templates, and media messages to reach customers on WhatsApp.

Resources & Operations

Message — Send (text, template, and media messages to a phone number via a WhatsApp Business phone number ID). Also supports Send and Wait for approval-style workflows.

Media — Upload, download, and manage media files for use in WhatsApp messages.

Authentication

API Key (permanent access token) via Secure Vault. Requires a Meta Business account with WhatsApp Business API access. Provide the access token in the credential configuration modal.

Tips

• Use template messages for sending the first message to a user (required by WhatsApp's 24-hour messaging policy).
• Phone numbers must include the country code without the + prefix.
• The Send and Wait operation pauses the workflow until a reply is received, useful for human-in-the-loop approval flows.
