Credential Setup

When configuring the Mandrill credential in Secure Vault, provide:

  • API Key — your Mandrill API key, used to authenticate every request.

Operations

Message

  • Send Template — send a message based on one of your Mandrill templates. Pick the template, then set the from and to addresses.
  • Send HTML — send a message built from raw HTML content.

Both operations accept a from address, one or more recipient addresses (comma-separated), and a wide range of optional settings: subject, from name, text/HTML body, tags, BCC address, scheduled send time, open/click tracking, auto text/HTML generation, inline CSS, IP pool, custom tracking, signing and return-path domains, Google Analytics campaign and domains, async bulk sending, and more. You can also attach files, add per-recipient merge variables, custom headers, and user metadata.
