Overview

Starts workflows when events occur in a Figma team. The trigger monitors an entire team for file changes, comments, and library updates via Figma webhooks.

Resources & Operations

Trigger Event	Description
File Commented	A comment is added to any file in the team
File Deleted	A file is deleted (does not fire for files inside a deleted folder)
File Updated	A file is saved or deleted; fires on close or within 30 seconds of changes
File Version Updated	A named version is created in a file's version history
Library Publish	A library file is published

Key Parameters:

Team ID — The Figma team to monitor. Find it in your browser URL: figma.com/files/team/{TEAM-ID}/
Trigger On — Select which event type should start the workflow

Tips

This node is labeled Beta by n8n. Behavior may change in future releases.
The trigger monitors the entire team, not individual files. Use a filter node downstream to target specific files.
File Updated fires frequently (every save/close), so consider adding deduplication logic if needed.

Authentication

API Key (Personal Access Token) via Secure Vault. Generate a token from your Figma account settings.
