Overview

ServiceNow is an IT service management platform. Use this node to manage incidents, users, table records, and business services.

Authentication

OAuth 2.0 (or Basic Auth) via Secure Vault. Provide your ServiceNow instance URL and credentials in the credential configuration modal.

Key parameters:

  • Table Name (Table Record) — any ServiceNow table (e.g., incident, sys_user)
  • Short Description (Incident) — required when creating incidents
  • Urgency / Impact / Priority — incident severity fields
  • sys_id — ServiceNow record unique identifier

Tips

  • Use the Table Record resource for generic access to any ServiceNow table beyond the built-in resources.
  • Filter results with Query parameters using ServiceNow encoded query syntax.
