Overview

Reddit is a social news and discussion platform. Use this node to interact with posts, comments, profiles, and subreddits.

Authentication

OAuth 2.0 via Secure Vault. Configure your Reddit app credentials in the credential configuration modal.

Key parameters:

  • Subreddit — the target subreddit name (without r/ prefix)
  • Kind (Post Create) — link post, self (text) post, or image
  • Sort (Get Many) — hot, new, top, rising, controversial
  • Time Filter (Top/Controversial) — hour, day, week, month, year, all
  • Return All — fetch all results or set a limit

Tips

  • Reddit API has strict rate limits. Use limits on Get Many operations to avoid throttling.
  • Post creation requires the authenticated user to have sufficient karma in the target subreddit.
