Overview

Send SMS, MMS, and WhatsApp messages or initiate phone calls via the Twilio API. SendGrid (a Twilio company) handles transactional and marketing email.

Call — Make (initiate a phone call with configurable from/to numbers and status callback URL)

Authentication

Twilio uses Basic Auth (Account SID + Auth Token) via Secure Vault. SendGrid uses API Key via Secure Vault. Configure separate Secure Vault credentials for each product.

Tips

  • Use E.164 format for phone numbers (e.g., +15551234567).
  • Add a status callback URL to track message delivery in real time.
