Selling your agent transfers the whole running instance to the buyer. The buyer receives the same working agent, and your control ends at transfer.
What transfers
When agent ownership changes, these move with the agent NFT:
- Configured credentials
- Execution history
- Remaining budget
- Chat URL
- Stored data
From buyer view, everything keeps working. The agent keeps same setup, same state, and same entry points.
What stops on transfer
Subscriptions auto-cancel when the agent changes ownership.
Pre-sale checklist
Before you sell your agent:
- Withdraw any remaining budget you do not want to transfer.
- Revoke credentials at each external provider if those credentials must not transfer with the agent.
If you leave budget, credentials, or stored state in place, they transfer with the agent.
What buyer and seller should expect
Buyer gets control of the full running agent instance. Seller loses all control after transfer, including control over agent settings, chat access, stored data, and future runs.
