Customizing Workflow Variables
Set the variables a workflow exposes — like limits, targets, or message text — before you run it.

Customizing Workflow Variables
💡 Note:TL;DRSome workflows expose variables you can change — such as a row limit, a target URL, or a default message. Open the workflow's Variables tab, edit the values, and save before running.
When a Builder publishes a workflow, they can mark certain inputs as variables. Variables let you tailor the workflow to your needs without editing the workflow itself.
Editing Variables
- Open your workflow from the Producer Dashboard.
- Go to the Variables tab.
- Change a value — for example, raise a
maxResultslimit or set a different recipient. - Click Save. The new values apply to every run from that point on.
If a workflow has no editable variables, the Variables tab shows an empty state — that workflow runs with fixed settings chosen by the Builder.
Notes
- Variable values are stored per workflow instance. Changing them does not affect other Producers running the same workflow.
- Saved values persist across runs until you change them again.
