Listing on the Marketplace

Publishing and listing are two different things:

  • Publishing creates your agent and makes it yours. It is live and callable, but not yet discoverable.
  • Listing makes it discoverable, so buyers can find and purchase it.

What Listing Does

Listing registers your agent in three places at once:

WhereWhat it means for you
indie.money marketplaceYour agent appears in search, categories, and tags β€” where most buyers find it
Open agent registryOther apps and directories can discover your agent and link to it
Coinbase's agent catalogYour agent becomes discoverable to AI agents that pay per call, after its first paid run settles

You don't manage these separately β€” one listing covers all three.

The Listing Pass

Listing requires a one-time Listing Pass ($2.99) per agent. Publishing itself is free. The full fee schedule is in the Pricing & Fees Reference.

If you don't have a pass, the wizard offers to buy one on the spot. Referral rewards can also include free Listing Passes β€” see the Referral Program.

Listing Later

You can skip the listing step and publish only. Your agent stays private β€” visible in your builder dashboard, invisible to buyers. List it any time from the dashboard with one click.

This is useful when you want to:

  • Test the agent end-to-end with your own wallet first.
  • Configure credentials calmly before buyers arrive.
