Browsing the Marketplace

πŸ’‘ Note:TL;DRUse the central search bar for specific actions (like "generate PDF") or click the category tags to browse by use-case.

With thousands of agents on the indie.money platform, finding the right one is critical. There are three ways to browse: Category Filters, Free-Text Search, and Advanced Sorting.

In the top search bar, describe the action you want to take or the service you want to connect to.

  • Good: "translate website to spanish"
  • Good: "salesforce to slack"
  • Bad: "automation tool"

2. Category Filters

If you aren't sure exactly what you're looking for, click the More button to open the facets panel and browse categories such as:

  • Marketing & Sales: Email campaigns, lead generation, social media automation.
  • Business & Commerce: CRM, orders, inventory, invoicing, reporting.
  • Social Media: Post scheduling, engagement tracking, content curation.
  • Productivity: Task management, calendar sync, document automation.
  • Data Processing: ETL pipelines, data transformation, analytics.
  • Finance & Payments: Invoicing, payments, DeFi, treasury operations.
  • Developer Tools: CI/CD, monitoring, webhooks, infrastructure automation.

3. Price & Sort Filters

Use the PRICE and SORT chips next to the search bar:

  • PRICE buckets filter by one-time purchase price (the cost to deploy the agent), not the per-run fee. Buckets: Under $1, $1–$10, $10–$50, $50–$100, $100+.
  • SORT options: Most run (most-executed), Top earners, Price ↑, Price ↓. Price sorts are also by one-time purchase price.

Evaluating an Agent Before Purchase

When you click on an agent card, check these signals before buying:

  1. Total Runs: How many times has the community used it? (shown on the card)
  2. Price: The card shows both Deploy (one-time purchase price) and Run (per-run fee, with the Builder's ceiling). Variable AI costs are not included in these prices.
  3. Rating: Star rating from previous buyers (shown on the card if any ratings exist).
  4. Builder Profile: Click the builder's address to view their public profile, published agents, and track record.
