Publishing Is Permanent: What Gets Locked

Publishing asks you to sign one message with your wallet. Signing is free — no gas, no fees — but it is a real commitment: it creates your agent with its workflow and prices locked in.

What the Signature Authorizes

One signature publishes everything you entered in the wizard:

  • Your workflow (the agent's logic)
  • Your prices (one-time purchase price, per-run price, max API cost)
  • Your linked sub-agents, if any
  • Your agent's name, description, category, tags, and image

Before You Sign — a 60-Second Check

  1. Prices: is the per-run price what you meant? A typo here cannot be corrected.
  2. Sub-agent links: does each linked address resolve to the right agent name?
  3. Workflow: did you upload the final version, with test values removed?

Made a Mistake?

You can't edit a locked field, but you're never stuck:

  1. Unlist the flawed agent from your dashboard so no new buyers find it.
  2. Publish a corrected version — upload the fixed workflow and set the right prices. Publishing is free; only listing needs a Listing Pass.

Existing buyers of the old version keep what they bought; new buyers get the corrected one.

Why It Works This Way

Buyers pay for exactly what they inspected: the workflow and prices they saw at purchase can never change under them. That guarantee is what lets strangers safely buy your agent — and it's the same reason you can't quietly edit yours.
