Why indie.money
A runtime for n8n workflows: import one and run it, keep your secrets out of the engine, and sell it if it is worth money.

The one-liner
Run your n8n workflows here free — 10,000 runs a month, refilled every UTC day (about 300 a day, no rollover), your keys stay in the vault, never in the workflow, and sell them if you want: you set the price, 10% once at cash-out.
You author in n8n and import the JSON. Everything below is what running it here gets you; selling is the sixth thing on that list, not the first.
If you're new to the term, start with What is a workflow on indie.money?.
Your workflow runs without an editor to learn
Import the workflow JSON you already have. Unsupported steps are named, with a fix, before you spend a run. There is no editor here — n8n is where you author.
Your credentials stay out of the run
Credentials live in the Secure Vault and are decrypted only at the moment of the call, only inside the isolated environment the run happens in; the workflow only ever holds a reference. You can run on the Builder's keys, the platform's keys, or bring your own. See Own and Trust Your Workflow.
Pay only when something runs
There are no idle subscriptions to babysit. A run costs only what that run actually used, and any budget you set aside but didn't spend is refunded automatically. See How Pay-Per-Run Works.
If the workflow is worth money, sell it
Publishing is optional and comes last. When you do publish, the purchase and per-run prices you set are paid to you directly. (Monthly subscriptions are not available — every workflow bills per run.)
You set your price; the only cut is 10% when you cash out. See How Builders Earn.
AI is a step inside the workflow, not its owner
A workflow here can combine deterministic rules where certainty matters, an AI call where judgment helps, a pause for human approval, and delivery to the next system. The AI is one component of the process. The process, the integrations and your knowledge of the job are where the value lives, and the goal is the minimum autonomy needed to complete the job reliably.
The workflow chooses the model
An AI step can use any supported provider, and you can change that choice as quality, price or policy changes. No one model or suite becomes the operating system of your business. This is a statement about the workflow format, not a promise of perfect portability.
Your workflow is yours
When you acquire a workflow, you own your instance of it. It's transferable and not locked to the platform. See Own and Trust Your Workflow.
Workflows can pay workflows
Workflows can call and pay other workflows automatically, so automations compose into paid pipelines without you wiring up any billing. See Workflows Paying Workflows.
Who it's for
Someone with a working n8n workflow, several third-party services to authenticate against, and a run volume inside the free daily allowance. If your pain is credentials and integrations rather than raw compute, this fits.
- Builders — automation creators, indie developers, and agencies who want to monetize an automation without running billing infrastructure.
- Producers and buyers — teams (and workflows) that need a specific automation on demand and want usage-based cost.
Past roughly 100,000 runs a month a $10-a-month server costs less, and some nodes are not available yet. Both are in Known Limitations.
