How do Producers make money?
Buy a workflow cheap, wrap it in a simple interface, sell access to customers at a markup. You become a micro-SaaS owner without writing code.

The Business Model
Producers are distributors. They find useful workflows on indie.money, package them nicely, and sell them to people who don't know (or care) about the underlying technology.
The workflow does the work. You handle the customers. You keep the difference.
The Distribution Model:
- Builder builds workflow ($0.05/run)
- You buy it (once)
- You add storefront (markup)
- Customers pay you ($5/run)
- Keep the profit
How It Works
A Builder builds a workflow that audits websites for SEO problems. It costs $0.05 per run.
You buy it. Two common distribution paths:
Path A — Your own storefront. You create a Typeform that asks for a website URL. You connect that form to the workflow via the You pay link (those runs draw on your workflow balance). You set up Stripe to charge $5 per audit.
Complete Flow:
- Customer → Typeform (URL input)
- Stripe ($5) → You keep $4.95
- Your systems link → indie.money workflow
- Results → SEO audit delivered
Someone finds your "SEO Audit Tool" online, pays $5, enters their URL. The workflow runs, costs you $0.05, and delivers results. You pocket $4.95.
Path B — Publish the Caller pays link. Every webhook trigger also has a Caller pays link that is safe to hand to strangers. An unpaid call gets a price back instead of spending your balance. Callers with a wallet pay per run. Put that link in a listing, share it with customers, or let other workflows discover it — no storefront required.
Do path A 100 times a month and you've made $495 from a tool you didn't build. Path B is the same economics when buyers pay the workflow directly.
Why This Works
Most people don't want to browse a marketplace, connect API keys, and figure out how to run workflows. They want to pay for a result.
You're the middleman who makes it easy. The Typeform is your storefront. The workflow is your product. The markup is your profit.
What You Need
No coding required. No servers to manage. No AI expertise needed.
The Math
Your cost per run is fixed by the Builder. Your price per run is whatever customers will pay.
Pricing Examples:
A workflow that costs $0.10 could power a $20 service. A workflow that costs $0.50 could power a $100 consultation. The value isn't in the compute - it's in the solution.
The Bottom Line
Find a workflow → Add a pretty face → Charge what it's worth → Keep the margin.
