Credential Setup

When configuring the Rocket.Chat credential in Secure Vault, you must provide:

  • User ID — Your Rocket.Chat user ID
  • Auth Token — Your Rocket.Chat personal access token
  • Domain — Your Rocket.Chat instance URL (e.g., https://your-rocketchat.example.com)

Status

This integration is supported on indie.money. The Secure Vault proxy handles authentication, so you don't need to expose credentials to the workflow runtime. The Rocket.Chat node requires the rocketchatApi credential type, which sends your access token and user ID in the X-Auth-Token and X-User-Id HTTP headers to your Rocket.Chat instance. All n8n operations are available.
