Credential Setup

When configuring the Mattermost credential in Secure Vault, you must provide:

  • Access Token — Your Mattermost personal access token
  • Base URL — Your Mattermost instance URL (e.g., https://mattermost.example.com)

Compatibility

All operations supported.

Status

This integration runs through the platform's authentication proxy. The Mattermost node requires the mattermostApi credential type, which is a header-based credential that sends a Bearer access token in the Authorization header to your Mattermost instance. All n8n operations are available.
