Credential Setup

When configuring the Metabase credential in Secure Vault, you must provide:

  • URL — Your Metabase instance URL (e.g., https://metabase.example.com)
  • Username — Your Metabase username
  • Password — Your Metabase password (used to obtain a session token)

Compatibility

All operations supported.

Status

This integration runs through the platform's authentication proxy. The Metabase node requires the metabaseApi credential type, which exchanges your username and password for a session token via the platform proxy. All n8n operations are available.
